Albemarle Police Searching For Bank Robbery Suspect
Police have released photos of a man who robbed a bank in Albemarle on Monday.
Authorities say a man entered the Wells Fargo at 200 E. Main Street in Albemarle, and gave the teller a note demanding money.Β The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed sum of money before he left on foot.
The suspect was described as a black male approximately five feet five inches to five feet eight inches tall wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans, dark tennis shoes, and a camouflage hat with a North Carolina Tarheel emblem on it.
The subject was last seen running toward the courthouse near Main street in Albemarle.
