Wilson’s World: Celebrating Summer at the Peach Stand in Fort Mill
Fort Mill, S.C. – Wilson headed south to Fort Mill again this morning to take us to a peach stand where you will find a lot more than just peaches.
The Peach Stand in Fort Mill is more than a just a place to get peaches and other fresh fruits and veggies. They also have a decadent bakery, a restaurant and deli and even a butcher shop. Wilson got an inside look at each shop while sampling some of the items they offer.
Wilson hooked up with Sal in the butcher shop to find out which meats are the best for your 4th of July grill out as well as picking up a few tips on how to grill the perfect burger. Mike, the cameraman, devoured a peach cobbler doughnut when they visited the bakery with Angela. And of course there were plenty of peaches and products made from peaches. Ron helped Wilson fill his shopping basket with one of everything. All of their peaches are locally grown and come straight from the farm.
The Peach Stand is a Fort Mill original and has been at the same location since the 1930s. They are open 7 days a week. To get more information on The Peach Stand and all of its shops as well as hours and location, check out their website at peachstand.com.
