*We continue to monitor a storm in the Gulf of Mexico. This will likely become a Tropical storm over the next day and will make landfall on the northwest side of Florida as it moves northeast. This storm will have no impact on Charlotte, but areas along the southeast coast will have some rain and breezy conditions late in the week. The worst of the storm will remain off of the coast. Rip currents will be the biggest concern.*
