Gaston County Man Arrested For Child Porn

Gaston County, N.C. —  A Gaston County man has been charged with Sexual Exploitation of a minor following an investigation.

Authorities say 34-year-old Paul Stephen Hallman of Dallas is charged with six counts of Second Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and seven counts of Third Degree Sexual Exploitation of a minor.

The arrest comes as a result of an investigation by the Gastonia Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation as part of Internet Crimes Against Children task force.   The ICAC program helps state and local law enforcement agencies investigate offenders who use computer technology to sexually exploit children.

The Hallman investigation involved the downloading and sharing of digital images and is ongoing.

Hallman was booked into the Gaston County Jail and given a $150,000 bond
