CMPD Releases 911 Calls After Protesters Shut Down I-85, Break Into Tractor Trailers
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD released several 911 calls after protesters shut down I-85 and started breaking into tractor trailers that were stuck on the interstate.
The protests began Tuesday evening after the shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott. Β Scott was shot and killed by a CMPD officer.
Two nights of violent protests followed the fatal shooting. Β Numerous buildings in the University area and Uptown Charlotte were damage during the riots.
