CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Chamber has announced that Printful, a Latvian Print-On-Demand company, has opened a Regional Headquarters office in Charlotte.
Printful prints and ships print products for e-commerce retailers, and company officials expect to invest $1.5 million and create 200 jobs with the Charlotte expansion.
The Charlotte office, at 100,000 square feet, is three times larger than the Chatsworth, California North American headquarters.
“We estimate that our California headquarters will max out by the end of this year,” said Davis Siksnans, Printful CEO. “Opening a new location now lets us prepare for peak season and it gives us more room to grow in 2017. Charlotte will be Printful’s hub for innovation, expanding our products and services, and for planning future growth.”
The Charlotte location is anticipated to print nearly 70 percent of company orders once it is fully operational.
“Charlotte offers an ideal location for Printful’s East Coast and Midwest client base,” said Bob Morgan, Charlotte Chamber CEO and president. “With the many of the nation’s major metropolitan markets within a 650-mile radius of Charlotte, products can easily be transported by 24-hour truck delivery or two hours flight time.”
