Cam Newton Seen Riding Scooter In Traffic Before Monday Night’s Game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Hours before the Carolina Panthers’ loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cam Newton was spotted riding through uptown Charlotte on a three-wheel scooter.

Cam Newton was not able to play in Monday night’s contest due to a concussion suffered last Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, but he was seen standing tall as he cruised through town on a motorized scooter.

The durable Newton missed only the third game of his career Monday night.

Many people are questioning whether a recently concussed Cam Newton should be riding his scooter in traffic without a helmet.

Cam is no stranger to alternate modes of transportation.  He was frequently seen navigating his hoverboard through town before coach Ron Rivera banned them from inside Bank Of America Stadium and strongly suggested players not ride the devices to work.

Cam also had some fun high-fiving people while he was riding a Segway in San Diego back in 2013.
