Wilson’s World: Touring Kitchens in Charlotte for a Good Cause

The 2016 Symphony Guild of Charlotte's annual Kitchen Tour this Saturday from 10am until 4pm.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson loves hanging out in the kitchen, especially if someone else is cooking.  But today he was hanging out in one of the beautiful kitchens of this year’s Symphony Guild’s 3rd Annual Heart of the Home Kitchen Tour.  Chef Bruce Moffett and his wife Katrina are not only opening their kitchen for the tour, but opened it up for Wilson.  And of course, Wilson made a game out of it.  Let’s play…”What’s in Chef Moffett’s fridge!”

The self guided tour of 8 of Charlotte’s most beautiful kitchens will leave visitors with inspiration and ideas on how to improve their own kitchens.  Guests can also savor tastings from local chefs and artisanal food vendors in each home as well as enjoy demonstrations and trendy products.

Proceeds from this Saturday’s kitchen tour support the Charlotte Symphony and its Youth Orchestras and youth music educational initiatives.  The Symphony Guild of Charlotte has contributed more than $5 million to the Charlotte Symphony since 1950. And just since 2000, the guild has given over $800,000 to youth music ‎education programs.
