UPDATE: Officials say all lanes are back open north of Exit 63, Lane Street, on I-85.
Charlotte N.C. – All lanes on I-85 have been closed one mile north of Lane Street (Exit 63) in Rowan County due to an accident. Motorists are encouraged to take the following detour until the road is cleared up: Take Exit 58 (US-29 North) and continue US-29 North to reaccess I-85 North. The roadway is expected to be cleared up by 3:15 pm.
