Wilson’s World: Previewing the 2016 Charlotte International Auto Show

The 2016 Charlotte International Auto Show Runs today through Sunday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Again this year Wilson presents his version of a clown car when he visits the 2016 Charlotte Auto Show.  It was early when we found him and cameraman Mike testing the strength of the doors of a Fiat before he took us around the showroom floor for a look at some of the cars at this year’s show.

The show is hosting four Ride & Drive events this year.  Chevrolet, Chrysler, Mazda and Toyota will have select 2017 models to drive Thursday thru Sunday at this year’s show.  This program allows consumers to get behind the wheel of various models and take these cars, SUV’s, crossovers and trucks for a spin.  Rules and regulations will apply.  Again this year, back by popular demand, the show will also feature the History of the Automobile display.

Two big birthdays will be celebrated this year.  Jeep and USO are both celebrating their 75th birthday at the show.  Visitors can travel back in time as they view the timeline and changes of the Jeep since it was first built during World War II.

The show kicks off at noon today and runs through Sunday at 6pm.  On Saturday and Sunday licensed drivers can ride and drive that dream car.  Santa will be at the show Saturday and Sunday from 12pm until 4pm.  Although families are welcome each day, Sunday is officially family day at the show when kids can talk with Santa and enjoy activities such as face painting and live music.

Check out their website at charlotteautoshow.com for more information on all the events going on during the show.
