Another Round Of Rain Wednesday, Sunshine Returns Thursday

Another round of rain will arrive Wednesday as a cold front crosses the area. Showers and storms move across the mountains during the late morning and early afternoon before overspreading the rest of the region during the afternoon and evening. The heaviest rain will fall in the mountains and foothills with lighter amounts in and around Charlotte. In addition to the rain, mild temperatures and gusty winds will linger through Wednesday evening. Sunshine and less wind will return Thursday with highs in the low 60s.
