Wilson’s World: Creating Gingerbread Houses at the Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Wilson was up to his elbows in gingergbread and frosting today when he took on the task of creating his own unique gingerbread house while at the Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge  this morning.

Wilson received a little Gingerbread 101 instruction from Noelle Gogg who teaches one of the workshops on how to create and decorate your own gingerbread house.  The classes will be held on Saturdays, December 10th and December 17th at the hotel.

Again this year, as in past years, the hotel is holding their holiday Gingerbread Lane competition.  From Thursday, December 8th through Sunday, December 28th visitors at the hotel can vote for their favorite gingerbread creation with a $1 minimum donation per vote. The voters’ favorite creation will get the voters’ choice award.  All of the money raised will go to the Levine Children’s Hospital.  Find our more about the competition HERE.
