A strong cold front will cross the area Thursday bringing with it increased cloud cover and a light breeze, highs in the mid-50s. Although a stray shower is possible, most areas will remain dry. The bigger story associated with the front will be the arctic air that settles into the area Thursday night through the upcoming weekend. Overnight lows will drop into the teens and lower 20s with afternoon highs struggling just to reach the 40s. Mostly clear skies are expected through Saturday with an increase in cloud cover Sunday as our next system approaches the area. No significant rain is expected through Sunday, our next chance will arrive Monday.
