Arctic Air Arrives Late Week

Wednesday will be a relatively quiet day with highs in the low to mid-50s under partly cloudy skies. An arctic front will usher in much colder air Thursday and Friday with highs 10Β°-15Β° below average. Highs will only reach the low to mid-40s Thursday followed by mid to upper 30s Friday. Thursday night will be the coldest night of the week with lows in the teens, single digits in the mountains. A breeze will make these air temperatures feel even colder. Dry conditions are expected through Friday before a better chance for precipitation arrives over the weekend along with a gradual warming trend.
