Temperatures will struggle to warm Thursday with highs only reaching the low to mid-40s despite abundant sunshine. In addition to the chilly temperatures, gusty winds will make it feel much colder. Thursday night will be the coldest night of the week with lows in the teens, single digits in the mountains. Friday will be another cold day with highs only reaching the mid to upper 30s under gradually increasing clouds. Drizzle or light rain is possible late Friday night into Saturday but no widespread heavy precipitation is expected. At the onset, there will likely be a period of freezing drizzle or freezing rain. The icy conditions are possible before 10 AM Saturday with just a cold rain or drizzle expected as the day progresses. High temperatures will eventually warm into the upper 40s. A better chance for rain and milder temperatures return Sunday.
