CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Volunteers with Promising Pages were working hard this morning to get out all of the books for students at Sterling Elementary.  Promising Pages “Books on Break” program brings books to students who may not have them at home, and encourages students to read over their winter break.

Wilson talked to volunteers, students and teachers about the “Books on Break” initiative and what it means to them.  A lot of the books that were being given to the students today were part of the books donated during the recent Ballantyne corporate book drive.

To help Promising Pages to purchase more books, they were presented a donation from Trilogy Lake Norman.

Promising Pages also takes the reading to the students in schools with their Magic Book Parties.  Find out more about Promising Pages and how you can help by volunteering or donating books at their website promisingpages.com.  Their warehouse is at an all time low and they really need your donation!
