DAVIDSON, NC — The Davidson Police Department is asking for information on a hit and run accident that sent one person to the hospital.
According to police, the accident happened around 1:45pm on Monday, December 9th in front of PostNet on Jetton Street. Jodi Courage was hit by a vehicle resulting in multiple fractures and hospitalization. Officials say Courage was released from the hospital Wednesday, January 4th, but still faces six to eight weeks of recovery.
Video released by the police department shows the suspected vehicle.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Davidson Police Department at 704-940-9633. North Mecklenburg Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
