Love-Life Saving Advice Before Valentine’s Day

What mistakes are you making on the first date?

Charlotte, NC — Carolinas Matchmaker Owner, Laurie Berzack, is giving love-life saving advice ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Her company actually fixes clients up with others. They aim to get people out of their regular friend circles to find true love.

Berzack says a lot of people make the mistake of posting too many party pictures on social media.

“If you really want to kind of create an image for yourself, mix it up. One day it may be that you’re out having fun down at the Epicenter, the next day maybe you’re volunteering. Show all of your life,” says Berzack.

When you’re on a first date, she says remember what not to do. “Don’t talk about past relationships. Number two, I’d love to say don’t talk about politics because I feel like you can get past it, perhaps. Number three, I would say don’t drag out all the skeletons in your closet on the first date. You know, that can be for later. But when you’re on a first date, just have fun, get to know the other person!” says Berzack.
