CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The 15th annual Prom Project Dress Distribution will be held this Saturday at ImaginOn in Charlotte.
Over 200 girls are expected to convene at ImaginOn, to take part in the Prom Project event hosted by Girl Talk Foundation Incorporated and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 4.
The young ladies in attendance will receive free formal attire, lessons on social etiquette, dating safety, and more information on how to have a memorable prom night.
Girl Talk Foundation, Inc. has been asking for public donations since January, and attending the etiquette session is a prerequisite to receiving one of the donated dresses.
Additional Dresses can be dropped off at ImaginOn from 9 a.m. until Β 3 p.m. on Friday, March 3.
Prom Project Participants can check in from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and the etiquette session begins at 10:20 a.m. Β The magic happens at 11:30 a.m., when the girls will be able to shop at the Dress Boutique.
