Police: Man Dies After Receiving Silicone Injections At Salisbury Home
SALISBURY, N.C. — Investigators say a woman is facing murder charges in Salisbury after she injected a man with silicone without a license and the man ended up dying as a result of the procedure.
Police say Kayonceya Iman Cornelius, 42, injected 19-year-old Eugene Jones II, who also goes by Symone Marie Jones, of Fayetteville with silicone at a home on Union Heights Boulevard.
Investigators say Jones went back to Fayetteville where he later died as a result of the procedure that was performed on January 12th. During the investigation, it was found that Cornelius had been conducting the medical procedures with non-medical grade silicone, according to a news release.
Cornelius has been charged with second degree murder. She was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center with no bond.
