Concerned Citizen Helps Police Catch Larceny Suspects
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Investigators say a concerned citizen helped police track down two suspects accused of breaking into a vehicle in south Charlotte.
The witness called 911 and told police he noticed two suspects looking into vehicles on Via Romano Drive. Β The witness said the suspects left the area when he drove around in an attempt to locate them. Β The witness then said he saw the suspects again but one of them left the area when he approached a second time.
At that point, officers arrived on the scene and detained Alexander Greis and Tyzhaun Carney. Both suspects were interviewed and later charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle and felony conspiracy.
