WASHINGTON, D.C. — Oklahoma based OK Foods Inc. is recalling over 900,000 pounds of breaded chicken that may be contaminated with metal.
The recall was issued after at least five complaints were submitted stating consumers found metal objects in breaded, ready-to-eat chicken products.
The products have the establishment number “P-7092” within the USDA mark of inspection.
As of yet, no one has reported becoming ill as a result of the contaminated product.
Consumers are urged not to eat the chicken. The products should either be returned to the purchase site or thrown away.
