CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are saying a viral social media prank is tying up emergency phone lines across the nation.

People have been posting on social media for iPhone users to say ‘108’ to Siri.  Police say 108 is India’s code for 911.  User’s phones will call 911 after the user says 108 to Siri.

Police around the country say this prank is wasting resources.
