CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in north Charlotte.
Detectives say they responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call just before 2:30am Friday on Prospect Drive near Tom Hunter Road.
Once officers arrived on the scene they located Michael Morris, 28, who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Morris was pronounced dead on the scene.
No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information on this murder is asked to call 911.
