CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle on Billy Graham Parkway.
CMPD says officers were called to the 4500 block of Billy Graham Parkway on Sunday morning, regarding a person being hit by a car.
The arriving officers located 55-year-old Stacey Negron unresponsive and lying in the road.
Police say Negron was attempting to cross the street in an unmarked area when struck by the vehicle. Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the accident.
The incident is still under investigation.
