Wilson’s World: Going Retro for Food and Fun at the Redeye Diner

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  The Redeye Diner in the Epicentre has been a late-night go-to spot for a year now and today Wilson finally made it Uptown to check out the retro diner.

Open 24/7, the diner has a breakfast menu including french toast, omelettes and chicken & waffles that is served all day.  Their lunch and dinner items include salads, hamburgers, steaks and shrimp & grits.  Diners can order an old fashioned milkshake with their lunch or a more adult beverage from their fully stocked bar while enjoying the 50’s dining atmosphere.

Among the diners Wilson met a family with 2 sets of twins.  The family is in Charlotte to attend the Charlotte Hornets and the Denver Nuggets basketball game.  But the catch is…they live in New Jersey and they came all the way down just to pull for their favorite team…the Denver Nuggets!  Wilson had a great time with the kids as they all sat at one big table enjoying things that you normally don’t eat for breakfast.

The Redeye Diner is located at 210 E. Trade Street inside the Epicentre.  You can save time and order online at their website redeyedinercharlotte.com.
