Repeat Offenders Arrested In Iredell County Traffic Stop
STATESVILLE, N.C. — Investigators say three repeat offenders have been arrested following a traffic stop in Iredell County.
Deputies say they witnessed a green Honda sedan make a traffic violation on Salisbury Highway. Β Once the vehicle stopped, investigators say the driver, Kenneth Dulin, was driving on a suspended license.
A passenger, Tyrone Chambers, was seen pulling a gun from his pants and throwing it in the floorboard of the vehicle, according to a news release. Β At that time, everyone was asked to get out of the vehicle.
Deputies sayΒ a third occupant of the vehicle, Courtney Bradshaw, had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Dulin has been charged with driving on a suspended license and resisting. Β Chambers has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a concealed weapon.
Deputies say all three suspects are repeat offenders and have extensive criminal histories that include drug convictions, robbery, weapons charges and assaults on law enforcement.
