A flash flood watch is in effect from midnight tonight until 8pm Monday.

A backdoor cold front will slide into the area this evening with showers and thunderstorms. We could also see locally heavy rainfall. Low pressure will also be a factor in our weather pattern as is moves across the Tennessee valley and through our region, providing a rounds of moderate rainfall that will persist through Monday morning. Some places could see 2-4″ of rain.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Showers and thunderstorms possible. Low 55. SSW 6-9 mph.

Sunday: Showers with thunderstorms. Windy. High 60. NE 10-13 mph. Gusts up to 22 mph.

Sunday night: Showers and thunderstorms. 1-2″ of rain possible. Low 54. NE 10-15 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph.

Monday: Cloudy with showers. A possible t’storm. Windy. High 65. NNE 9-13 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph.
