A deep low pressure system will move from Georgia to the Carolina coast creating a lengthy period of moderate to heavy rainfall and much cooler temperatures through at least Monday. Some areas could see rainfall totals ranging from 2-5″ by the time the entire event is over. We will dry out and warm back up by the midweek.

Monday: Showers, possibly a thunderstorm. Patchy fog. Gusty. High 60. ENE 14 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph.

Monday night: Showers and windy. Low 54. NNE 11-17 mph. Gusts up to 28 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers. High 72. N 11 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph.
