CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide following the death of a man assaulted in east Charlotte in November of 2016.
Police say Brian Fitzgerald Sherrell Faulkner, 46, died on Tuesday, May 16th, as a result of injuries sustained in the November assault.
According to CMPD, on November 30, 2016, officers responded to a call for service regarding an assault and found Faulkner lying next to a dumpster near the intersection of The Plaza Road and 35th Street.
