Mother Of Four Wins World Hamburger Eating Championship In Raleigh
RALEIGH, N.C. — A 100 pound mother of four kids destroyed the competition at the Wold Hamburger Eating Championship in Raleigh.
Molly Schuyler flew from Los Angeles to Charlotte, drove from Charlotte to Raleigh, and then slept in her rental car before competing in the contest.
Schuyler ate 7 Hwy 55 burgers with a side of fries and a 20 ounce drink inΒ 1 minute 37 seconds, setting a new world record. Β She held the previous world record at 1 minute 53 seconds.
She pocketed $2500 for the win.
The event, hosted by Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries and All Pro Eating, took place at the Crabtree Valley Mall and featured 11 of the world’s best competitive eaters.
