Wilson’s World: Previewing the 2017 iMakeCLT Day at C3Lab

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –    It was robots and drones while Wilson was at C3Lab this morning previewing next month’s iMakeCLT event. It’s a big weekend in South End Charlotte and is part of their 2017 South End Community Make Day.

This free, family-friendly event will provide a pop-up space for neighbors from all over Charlotte to connect, learn and create meaningful projects. Attendees of all ages can interact with artists and makers to take part in activities like STEM education, a community art-making project, urban hydroponics, hand sign painting, drone technology, 3D printing, Legos, printmaking, robotics, building birdhouses & firetrucks and more.

Some of the organizations taking part in the event are Charlotte Community Tool Bank, Harris Teeter, Charlotte UAV, Austin Lettering, Yeti Robotics and UTC Aerospace Systems.

The iMakeCLT 2017 South End Community Make Day is Saturday, June 17th from 10am until 2pm and admission is free.  To find out more, check out their website imakeclt.com.
