CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have charged a man with robbery and conspiracy while investigating a murder that happened on Memorial Day in north Charlotte.
Bobby Wesley Jr. was shot and killed early Monday morning inside a motel room on Reagan Drive. A 16-year-old, who was also inside the motel room, was assaulted during the incident and sustained minor injuries.
Police say they arrested Danigel Cowan for his involvement in the murder of Wesley. Cowan has been charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. No one has been charged with the murder of Wesley at this time.
