Suspect Wanted In Multiple NW Charlotte Peeping Tom Cases And Sexual Assault

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is investigating after receiving early morning reports of a peeping tom incident and sexual assault.

The first incident happened just before 5am on Slater Ridge Road where police say a a female victim reported waking up to a man fondling her in her bedroom. The victim screamed, according to reports, and the suspect took off.

The second incident was reported around 6:20am on Grass Run Court. Officers say a woman reported a man matching the earlier suspect’s description looking inside her home through a window.

Detectives say they found a similar peeping tom case reported Thursday on Gold Nugget Court where the victim said she saw a suspicious man in front of her house. According to that report, the victim later found one of her outside chairs under a window of her home.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 25-30 years old, 6′, and thin build.
