Wilson’s World: Enjoying The 2017 Autobell Summer Games

It's a slobberknocker of a car wash-off as Lugnut and Chubby take on two dirty WCCB Parks Chevy Tahoes before the beginning of the 2017 Autobell Summer Games

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  It may not be the Summer Olympics, but every summer Autobell employees go head to head in the in their own “olympic” Autobell Summer Games.  Wilson was at the Autobell Carwash on Charlottetown Avenue where they were kicking off the 13th annual Autobell Summer Games.

Each year Autobell brings together their best…and fastest…Autobell employees for a fun, friendly and colorful action-filled competition.  There will be almost  200employees from over 70 stores in 5 states joining in on the fun.  Speed, accuracy and dress will all be judged before announcing winners.  This also gives employees a chance to meet other employees and well as management that they don’t see very often.

Before the event began Autobell COO Carl Howard awarded their inaugural “Teachers that Care” award to Holly Jeffries, a wonderfully caring teach who works with the blind and visually impaired students at Eastover Elementary School.

And to add in a little more “carwash competition” Wilson referred the “Mascot Wash-off.”  The Charlotte Checkers’ Chubby took on Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Lugnut in a washoff competion.  Still not too sure either car was washed throughly.

Beginning at 9am today the American Red Cross will be on hand at the games conducting an employee blood drive.

Stop by the Autobell at 930 Charlottetown Ave on Saturday, June 24th and purchase a super poly wash or more and Autobell will be giving away to drivers a free safety kit.  Get their early as supplies are limited!  At this location only.
