UPDATE: Police say Corey Caldwell’s body was found in a wooded area near his home Wednesday afternoon.
CMPD says a death investigation is underway, but investigators currently believe the cause to be a suicide.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The CMPD is investigating the disappearance of a Charlotte man with cognitive issues, who may be endangered.
Authorities are looking for 32-year-old Corey Julius Caldwell, who was reported missing on July 4, 2017 at about 8:30 a.m.
Caldwell was last seen in the 1700 block of Sir Anthony Drive, in the University City area. He is described as a black male, approximately six feet tall and 140 pounds.
