Wilson’s World: Previewing the Knight’s “Carolina BBQ Battle Royale Night”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson thought he had breaking news this morning when he announced that the Charlotte Knights were changing their name.  And they are, but for only one day and for a good cause.

This Saturday, July 15th when the Charlotte Knights hit the diamond against the Gwinnett Braves, their jerseys will read “Charlotte Pitmasters” for one night to celebrate the “Carolina BBQ Battle Royale.”  Fans can enjoy some great Carolina BBQ while watching the game.  They can also purchase the special “Charlotte Pitmasters” caps and apparel at the team store.   The jerseys that the players will be wearing will be auctioned off after the game with proceeds going to the Charlotte Knights charities.
