Victim Identified In Chesterfield County Homicide Investigation

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — Officials tell WCCB they are investigating a homicide after a man’s body was found on a dirt road.

The body of 23-year-old Rashaad Jackson, of Hartsville, was found just around 10:30am Wednesday on Patrick Fire Tower Road, officials say. Deputies say Jackson had multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest.

Officials say an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow. No word yet on suspects.
