Wilson’s World: Building Little Libraries For Local Neighborhoods

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Wilson was searching for “little libraries” this morning and his search took him to the Harper Campus of Central Piedmont Community College where he found kids enjoying summer camp while helping out their communities.

When Jasmine Hines of CPCC and Officer Daniel Redford with CMPD partnered up to bring books to Charlotte’s southwest community a small idea turned into a fun project for kids during the summer.

This camp at the Harper Campus is only one of the many camps that CPCC offers for rising 4th through 12th graders in many different areas of interest including cooking, engineering, math, video game development, construction, graphic arts, computers, welding and forensics.  To find out more about these camps, go to the link HERE.
