Two Injured After Shooting In West Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C — A man heard gunshots while walking only to realize he had been shot.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said the 911 call came in Saturday night at 6:53 p.m on the 1500 block of Sumter Avenue.
The first victim was located upon arrival with a gunshot wound to the leg, according to police.
He was transported by Medic to Carolinas Medical Center.
A short time later a second victim turned up at Presbyterian Main with a gunshot wound, according to CMPD.
Both of the victims are being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
There is no motive at this time.
