Lawsuits Against Prominent Charlotte Eye Doctor Move To Federal Court

CHARLOTTE, NC — A well known Charlotte eye doctor is being sued by two former employees for sexual harassment, assault, and wrongful termination.

The women allege that Dr. Jonathan Christenbury, owner of Christenbury Eye Center, regularly hired women based on how attractive they were. One of the women, a former Hornets cheerleader, says Christenbury offered her $5000 for sex and stalked her.

The lawsuits were initially filed in July in Superior Court, but on Friday they were filed in Federal Court.
