Wilson’s World: Joining CMPD AC&C to Preview 2017 Animal Kneads Day
The 2017 Animal Kneads Day will again be held at Great Harvest Bread Company on Kings Drive this Sunday, August 27th.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Each year Wilson visits Great Harvest Bread Company to preview the upcoming CMPD Animal Care & Control’s Animal Kneads Day. Today he was accompanied by his own rescue buddy, ‘George Harrison.’
Wilson was joined by Melissa Knicely and Mark Blestra with CMPD Animal Care & Control along with Kenya Templeton of Great Harvest Bread Company to talk about the event and the great fresh made bread that you will be getting.
This is the 11th anniversary of CMPD AC&C’s Animal Kneads Day with Great Harvest. The event started small but over 11 years the event has grown and allowed Animal Care & Control to raise thousands of dollars to help spay and neuter pets.
The 11th Annual Animals Kneads Day is this Sunday, August 27th. It will move back to the Great Harvest Bread Company location at 901 South Kings Drive. From 10am until 5pm there will be vendors as well as live music and entertainment. Donate $10 for AC&C spay & neuter program and receive a free loaf of bread.
