Wilson’s World: Going All in With Wren and the Red Cross at Ft. Mill YMCA
FORT MILL, S.C. – Today Wilson was #AllinforWren with the Red Cross at the Ft. Mill YMCA. In June Wilson was at the American Red Cross Charlotte Metro Chapter where he met four year old Wren Jansen. Today he was back with Wren at the YMCA where they will be holding a community supported blood drive for her later today.
Wilson met Wren’s entire family and talked with her mom Brandi about pediatric cancer and how important blood donations are needed for patients. September is not only Pediatric Cancer Awarness month, but it marks the 1st anniversary of Wren’s diagnosis with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Family and friends have rallied around Wren to help her with her fight.
The Ft. Mill YMCA is located at Baxter Village at 857 Promenade Walk in Fort Mill, S.C. The event begins today at 1:30pm running through 6:30pm this evening then again on Saturday from 9am until 3pm. They are working hard to reach a goal of 200 units. To find out more about Wren, her battle, the blood drive and how you can help, click on the link HERE.
