CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD is investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in Uptown Charlotte over the weekend. Police responded to North College Street Saturday afternoon after MEDIC was requested for an unknown trauma call.
The man, Joseph Bellamy, was pronounced dead on the scene. The medical examiner’s office ruled his death as a homicide. No other details have been released at this time. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call 704-334-1600.
