UPDATE: The lockdown at Allenbrook Elementary School has been lifted.
According to CMPD, officers were looking for a subject with multiple warrants.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A west Charlotte elementary school is on lockdown due to police activity in the area.
Officials say Allenbrook Elementary off Freedom Drive was placed on lockdown shortly after 10am. Β CMPD has not said what the police activity is at this time.
