Warm And Dry Week, Monitoring Maria Off The Southeast Coast

Tuesday through Thursday will remain warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s and overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s. Much cooler temperatures and lower humidity will return to the region Friday and will linger through the upcoming weekend. Little to no rain is expected through Sunday. Maria will remain off the southeast coast through Wednesday before moving out to sea. At this time, no impacts are expected in Charlotte. Rain/wind/rough surf/rip currents will be felt along the North Carolina coast.
