Wilson’s World: Kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with CREW Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson joined CREW Charlotte and the American Cancer Society early this morning in South Park to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to turn the Queen City pink.  Over 250 locations all around the city will be turning pink during the month as part of CREW Charlotte’s Queen City in Pink event. Today he was on Piedmont Row in South Park where their fountain has turned pink.

Wilson talked with survivors about their experiences with breast cancer and the significance of the events held during the month.

The American Cancer Society’s  Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk will be held on Saturday, October 21st.  The walk will be held at the zMax Dragway at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

They were also joined by Rip Arrington of the Charlotte Fire Department who brought in the Pink Lady from the CFD.

CREW Charlotte is comprised of over 300 Charlotte area real estate professionals who are committed to advancing and empowering women in real estate while working within the community.
