Four Men Charged With Series Of Armed Robberies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives have charged four men in connection with a series of robberies from businesses in Charlotte.

Eric Hall, 20, Damion Howie, 19, Rondell Jenkins, 19, and Yakim Jenkins, 20, were are charged for their involvement in the armed robberies

On Monday, September 04, 2017, at 11:51 p.m., two suspects entered the 7-Eleven, located at 12007 Sam Roper Drive.  The clerk stated that the suspects brandished weapons and demanded property.  The suspects fled after obtaining property.

On Friday, September 15, 2107, at 2:49 a.m., the suspects entered the Circle K, located at 507 Little Rock Road.  An employee stated that the suspects displayed a firearm and demanded property.  The suspects fled the scene after taking property.

On Thursday, September 21, 2017, at 1:16 a.m., the suspects entered the 7-Eleven, located at 10700 Reames Road.  A clerk stated that the armed suspects demanded property from the victim business, and then fled.

On Tuesday, September 26, 2017,  officers arrested Damion Howie, Rondell Jenkins and Yakim Jenkins in a stolen vehicle on Majestic Meadow Drive in north Charlotte.   During the investigation, officers discovered evidence from the previous robberies.   Based on the evidence and interviews with the suspects, detectives determined that these three suspects and Eric Hall were responsible for the series of  armed robberies form businesses.

Eric Hall was charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Damion Howie was charged with three counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and three counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon along with other unrelated warrants.

Rondell Jenkins was charged with two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Yakim Jenkins was charged with three counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and three counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
