MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Mooresville Police are investigating the death of a security guard following an altercation at a local business.
Police say the were called to reports of a fight atΒ KAM-5 LLC, located at 167 North Main Street.
Upon arrival, officers located William Glenn Bracken, 51, unconscious and not breathing.
Attempts by police and MEDIC to resuscitate Bracken were unsuccesful.
An investigation revealed an altercation took place between Bracken and a male patron attempting to enter the business.Β According to witnesses, Bracken was struck and suffered injuries while trying to restrain the patron.
Authorities are not sure what caused Bracken’s death.
