Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Shooting In West Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say they arrested a suspect for shooting and critically injuring a man in west Charlotte.

The shooting was reported just before 10pm on October 20th on Crestridge Drive near Brianna Way.

A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound at the location.  He was taken to a local hospital where he is currently in critical condition.

Detectives say information and evidence gathered at the scene helped them to identify Noah Chambers as a suspect in the case.

Chambers was arrested Friday without incident.  He was interviewed and then charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
